Walking through the Peacock Centre and Wolsley Place, it cannot have escaped your notice that the AGM is nearly upon us! At each entrance there is a strategically placed floor poster to catch your eye. It is a free event held at the HG Wells Centre and starts at 7.30pm on Wednesday the 26th September 2012. The Title of the event is “The Green Economy – Making it Work”. Guest Speakers are Andy Atkins (Executive Director, Friends of the Earth) and Sarah Reader (World Development Movement) and they will discuss key issues arising from the Rio +20 Earth Summit plus the Green Economy and what it could mean locally.
We are a voluntary group of individuals taking action locally on issues relating to climate change and sustainability.
