This year’s Woking Food & Drink Festival will take place in the town centre from Friday 2nd to Sunday 4th September.
As well as food and drink stalls, there will be cookery demonstrations, children’s activities, tours of Tante Marie academy and some celebrity appearances – including Nadiya Hussain, the current Great British Bake Off champion.
Woking Local Food will share a stand with Woking Borough Council. We hope to raise awareness of the Woking Local Food directory and raise the profile of local food producers.
Could you spare an hour or two to volunteer with us?
We’ll be chatting to people about the directory, handing out leaflets to people who want them and selling raffle tickets for hampers of local products.
We are looking for volunteers to man the stand for one or two hours on any of the three festival days: Fri 2nd, Sat 3rd and Sun 4th September.
