On Saturday 30 March at 8.30pm hundreds of millions of people across the world are set to switch off their lights for one hour in a momentous show of support to protect our planet. In 2018, ten million people took part in the UK alone.
Earth Hour is spectacular event with landmarks across 187 countries worldwide switching their lights off for the hour. But Earth Hour is more than just one hour of darkness; it’s our chance to show world leaders we are prepared to fight for our world.
This year, we’re asking people to add their voice this Earth Hour and join our call for action to safeguard nature and set it on the path to recovery.
You’ll be part of a growing movement of people around the world who want their voice to be heard. Together, with government, business and individuals making changes, we can make a big difference.
Be part of the change: switch off for your world this Earth Hour. Please visit www.wwf.org.uk/earthhour to find out how to participate.
