COP26 is the 2021 United Nations Climate Change Conference. This is not just another conference. COP26 is urgent because of the increase in world temperature due to carbon emissions which is leading to an increase in the earth’s temperature, widespread flooding and forest fires. This conference is being described as the most significant conference since the 2015 Paris Agreement where every country agreed to work together to limit global warming to below two degrees and to aim not to increase the temperature beyond 1.5 degrees.
