Global Day of Action for Climate Justice

The COP26 Coalition is planning a rally at Horse Hill, Horley, tomorrow November 6th , 2021..The event is starting at 12.30pm. The group will gather to hear a variety of speakers before marching to the oil site gates to hear music and written word. In September 2019, Surrey County Council passed planning permission for four new oil wells -and 25 years of fossil fuel production at Horse Hill, near Horley in Surrey. Surrey county Council’s decision is being challenged on the 16th of November in the Appeal Court by Sarah Finch and the Weald Action group.
