Please join us for Woking Environment Action’s (WEAct) AGM 2021 on Thursday 18th of November between 19.30 and 21.00. The meeting will include an update on our activities throughout the last year , our ambitions for 2022, as well as outlining opportunities for volunteers to get involved with our work.
We are also delighted to welcome Ben McCallan, Chair of Zero Carbon Guildford to discuss how they are driving local community action. ZERO is a new community space set up to promote education and solutions for climate mitigation and adaptation. This will be an opportunity for us to learn from Ben’s experience and consider the next steps for driving climate action in Woking.
We’ll also conduct some formal business at the meeting – including appointing our chair and twelve Steering Group members and agreeing our constitution ( a copy of which is attached to this blog post).
