Woking Borough Council is asking residents to fill in an online survey or to come along to three different roadshows to help develop a new five year corporate strategy. The three remaining roadshows are tonight Monday 29th of November (St Mary’s Centre for the Community, off Stream Close ,Byfleet, KT14 7LZ from 19:00 to 20:30), later this week Thursday 2nd of December (The Lightbox , Chobham Road, GU21 4AA from 12:00 to 13:30) and on Monday 6th of December (St Andrew’s Church, Denton Way, GU21 3LG from 19:00 to 20:30). The online survey can be accessed via https://feedback.thehaloworks.com/survey/selfserve/174e/211006#?. The closing date is 10/12/2021.
People completing the survey will be asked to provide comments about ideas of improving Woking in the next five years. Please consider rewilding when completing the survey. Rewilding is about encouraging your local borough council to relax the management of green space e.g. reducing mowing patterns throughout the spring/summer, tree planting or the initative of Brent borough council of a seven mile bee corridor.
