February was a successful month for us. We burnt most of the remaining brash in the main area on St John’s Lye and cleared some other isolated patches of laurel. We also managed to start clearing the heathland area to protect the heather and gorse. Attached is a picture of part of the heathland.
Work parties at St John’s Lye in March will be held as follows.
Wednesday -March 2nd and Sunday March 20th
Both sessions start at 10:00 and finish at 13:00
