Climate commitments made at latest forum meeting – video

The climate emergency will be central to Woking Borough Council’s next Corporate Strategy – just one of a number of commitments made during February’s Climate Forum. Chaired by Dr Stephen Cornelius, Chief Advisor- Climate Change, WWF UK, the 90 minute session featured panellists discussing the impact of climate change on the local area as well as outlining their commitments to climate action for the next six months.

This included the Leader of Woking Borough Council, Cllr Ayesha Azad, confirming that climate change was going to be at the heart of the local authority’s upcoming Corporate Strategy document.
