Woking’s biggest celebration of climate and nature will get underway in a fortnight, with a week long series of events and activities running from Sat 24th Sept to Sunday 2nd October.
WEAct has coordinated a diverse and packed programme of free events – ranging from a meat-free lunch and fruit foraging walks to climate themed Q&A with Woking MP Jonathan Lord and workshops providing home energy advice.
The theme of this year’s week is based around The Jump initiative – a positive climate movement which offers six steps to adopting a more sustainable lifestyle. You can found out more about The Jump at our talk & workshop on Thursday 29th Sept at the WWF Living Planet Centre – more information, including how to register, is available here.
The full programme can be found here. – we hope you can join us for some of these greats events.
