Our first work party of the autumn is next Sunday starting at 10.00 and finishing at 13.00. Refreshments will be provided. The experts have advised us that now is the time to remove invasive small saplings around the heather on the heathland before they can establish themselves. We also plan to prepare some identified areas for wildflowers. Depending on progress we may also be able to plant some plugs. Your help will be appreciated even if you can only attend some of the time. We meet at Tulip Tree cottage which is accessed by going past St Johns Church in Church Road and taking the right hand folk down an unmade up road. Tulip Tree is about 100 yards on the left.
