Membership is open to anyone who supports the aims of Woking Environment Action (WEAct). There are no membership fees – it’s completely FREE to join.
To become a member of WEAct we ask that you agree to support our aims which are:
To promote the conservation, protection and improvement of our physical and natural environment, in particular in Woking and the surrounding areas:
a) by advancing the education of residents, the public and local organisations.
b) by facilitating public engagement in taking constructive action for the benefit of the local and wider community on various environmental topics including biodiversity loss, climate change, sustainable living and the climate and ecological emergency.
Membership details
As a member, you will be automatically added to our mailing list to receive our newsletters and contacted from time to time with membership information, including details of the Annual General Meeting to which all members are invited and will have an opportunity to vote. (Please save our email address hello@wokingenvironmentaction.com as one of your contacts so that our emails don’t get lost.)
You can withdraw your membership at any time by emailing us.
The WEAct Board reserves the right to remove membership from those who behave inappropriately with respect to the WEAct constitution or towards the community or any individual within it.

Newsletter Only Option
Perhaps you have a professional interest in following us but membership of WEAct is not appropriate for you. Maybe you work in the public sector or for a local business or organisation and would like to receive our newsletter and be kept up to date with our activities. In this case please provide your details below and you can subscribe to our newsletter. Optionally you can also ask to join our WhatsApp Broadcast Group. Subscribers will not be eligible to vote at our AGM.
