Invasive species poster jpegThis month, Woking Biodiversity Partnership is teaming up with Surrey Wildlife Trust (SWT).

As part of SWT’s Invasive Species Month, a group of volunteers will be ‘balsam bashing’ in Mayford Meadows on Sunday 17th July, 10am-1pm.

We plan to meet in the small car park opposite the entrance to Westfield Primary School, Bonsey Lane, GU22 9PR. Tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided.

It’s a good idea to wear long sleeves and long trousers as there are nettles in the area. Wellington boots or walking boots and gardening gloves are also advised.

We would love to see you! No experience necessary.

Do get in touch if you have any questions. So that we have an idea of numbers, if you would like to join us, please let us know by email: woking.biodiversity@outlook.com
