” Last Saturday I took along an Eagle Sculpture made out of old bicycle parts which had become detached from its mount (a garden spade) to Woking Repair Café St. Mark’s Church Westfield Woking for repair. Michael one of your volunteers remounted the eagle on the garden spade. Fantastic job Michael!.

Above is a photo of Michael effecting the repair and a photo of the eagle (mounted on a garden spade) back in situe in my garden. Well done Michael! Well done Woking Repair café!

Best Wishes to everyone involved with Woking Repair café. ” — Mike, West Byfleet

” I just wanted to say thank you for looking into my steam cleaner yesterday at St Mark’s Church.

Mike D has checked the electric side of it and everything was working in order.  He suggested that I use vinegar and make solution to unclog the tubings, which I did over night (switched off) and this afternoon, I switched on and made the solution go through the tubing.  After 30mins, it started steaming and the tubing seemed to be unclogged.

He and his colleagues also suggested to use the deionised water in the future.  Also a gentleman told me where I could get deionised water less expensive.

The steamer has not worked for over 5 years but it was otherwise very good condition, very useful when it worked, so I couldn’t bring it to the skip.  I thought it would be bonus if it were fixed, and it did!!  Thank you very much.

I just thought I would let you know it worked.

Please keep the good work going. ” — JD Woking Resident
