What are petitions?
Environmental petitions are formal requests, often signed by many people, that urge formal decision-makers to take specific actions to protect the environment. They are a tool for individuals to collectively demand policy changes, increase awareness, and hold institutions accountable. Whether you are passionate about protecting forests, saving endangered species, or promoting cleaner materials and resources, adding your voice can make a difference.
“The least I can do is speak out for those who cannot speak for themselves.” – Dr. Jane Goodall, DBE
How can I help?
The fight against climate change, pollution, and environmental damage starts with people taking action and one of the most effective ways to do that is by speaking up together. We’ve put together a list of meaningful petitions to help you take that first step. If you have other petitions that you’d like to suggest we add please email us at hello@wokingenvironmentaction.org
